ackuchcik Happy Snowmen - This was the very first quilted fireplace mantle cover I made for my daughter as a Christmas gift. Since then she has requested all four season of which she now has spring, fall and winter. The last request was for a summer one. I first painted the fabric with acrylic paint and a textile medium and then quilted it. The winter one has snowmen in different positions from skiing, snowballs, and just plain having fun.
