Flower Baskets - After watching a Vimeo video I tried the baskets, carried on and made 12 blocks enjoying using scraps to fill with flowers, some demonstrated by Eleanor Burns . I used this quilt to try out machine quilting on my new sewing machine I treated to myself this year. I am not good at machine quilting(am learning) I hand quilted the flower blocks. I thought machine quilting would not pain my arthritis hands like hand quilting -no luck both are painful to me- . I hand applique both by hand and by machine. Confess I prefer hand sewing!!!

Mother's Day Bouquet - The center panel is hand embroidery. The surrounding fabrics are woven with loops on the ends. After weaving folded fabrics I stitched them down on backing.

Bloomin' Sunshine

My Ruffled Roses - It took me a while to complete, but love the results. Started in January 2011 and completed the piecing in January 2013. Spent 56 hours quilting it, but loved every minute of the process.

jumpin tee's - this was made for jeress as a graduation from high school. He is very big in to competitive jump roping and wanted to preserve his tee shirts he had accumulated over the years. i used to watch him as a child and wanted to do something special for him.

Poured Out 2 - An art quilt depicting the emotions I went through while my husband battled cancer. The jug and water depict the love of God and those who helped us during a trying time, while the background is quilted with thorny vines and designs to create words in the black sateen of the negative emotions that threatened to choke the life out of me. In the end, the living water and love washed away those painful feelings as my husband made a full recovery.

Diamond Quilt - I made this quilt as my City & Guilds examination piece. It uses mainly batiks and is densely quilted all over.

Cottage Garden - This quilt combines large log cabin squares offset with a raw edge applique block.

Take Time Out To Smell The Flowers - Take time out is a stripped quilt combined with stitcheries, using a jelly roll.

Clark street - I mimicked the pattern of the carpet in my sister's den to design this cuddle quilt to be used in that room.

Starstruck - I designed this quilt to look like an illustration in a Bible.

"Nostalgia" - 1 place in the competition Evroquilt, the magazine "Wonderful Moments" in 2009

Tree of Passion - Cotton, flizofiks, woolen yarn. Applique, quilting, dyeing 2 place in the competition Burda magazine in Moscow, 2013

Going In Circles - I have made this quilt as part of my ongoing challenge to improve my curved piecing. It was quilted block by block then sashed together.

Hexagon Play - This quilt was pieced using Gyleen Fitzgerald's method of piecing hexagons.

Azzurro - "Azzurro" was inspired by images of intense solar flares in early 2012.
