mc555 Flower Baskets - After watching a Vimeo video I tried the baskets, carried on and made 12 blocks enjoying using scraps to fill with flowers, some demonstrated by Eleanor Burns . I used this quilt to try out machine quilting on my new sewing machine I treated to myself this year. I am not good at machine quilting(am learning) I hand quilted the flower blocks. I thought machine quilting would not pain my arthritis hands like hand quilting -no luck both are painful to me- . I hand applique both by hand and by machine. Confess I prefer hand sewing!!!
