Newton's Ammonite - Using the colours of the spectrum discovered by Isaac Newton, it has 7 small garnets sewn into the opening, representing the 7 colours attributed to the spectrum.
My first quilt - I was inspired to make this "First Quilt" after visiting Lancaster Co., Pa. After attending my first quilt class, this was the first quilt I made on my own.
And In The Meadow... - This is the first quilt that I designed. The pattern is available from Brewer Sewing Supplies or through my website and comes with a polymer clay carrot nose and beads for the eyes and mouth.
Burgoyne Surrounded - This is my favorite quilt. It's a king size and resides on my bed most of the time. I can't find the pattern that was in Quilter's Newletter so I can't tell you what year it was published. It had a wonderful story about the history of this quilt block and the real battle that inspired the block back in 1772.
I redrew the pattern into Electric Quilt and resized to to fit my bed. It was lots of fun collecting fat quarters in red and off white.

Okey Doke - I designed this quilt in Electric Quilt while watching a TV program in which one character kept saying "Okey Doke", hence the name of the quilt:-)) The pattern is available for purchase through Quiltbug.com
no name-my first hand made quilt - these are hearts that are appliqued on pieces that are not exactly square. The inspiration is a quilt that often appeared on the set of Simply Quilts. I started it before I saw the pattern in Alex's book--can't remember name of the book.
It actually has one small 'claw' hole because I have a bad cat. Otherwise it is mint condition because it has been --and will not be--any where but my wall.
Love's Blossoms - A handpainted tree form on a panel was the basis of this family tree quilt. I threadpainted the entire tree and added family photos beginning with Grandparents (trunk), parents, children and then the great-grandchildren are in the borders. This was made for my Grandmother's 90th Birthday celebration!
25th Anniversary Quilt - I really like batik fabrics. This quilt was made in my 2nd quilt class and it's the 3rd quilt I made. The thread used in quilting was a magenta that worked beautifully.
Tree of Life - A gift for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. The phototransfers are my parents, my sister and I with our spouses and the 3 grandchildren and are surrounded by Celtic Applique. Pieced background.
Sydney's quilt - This is my first quilt. I made it because I love my aunt's dog, Sydney. So I made it for her. I designed it myself, and made it myself. It is machine pieced and machine quilted. I put the binding and the label on by hand. Next I am going to make a quilt for my dog, Cider.
