Stitcheswell Burgoyne Surrounded - This is my favorite quilt. It's a king size and resides on my bed most of the time. I can't find the pattern that was in Quilter's Newletter so I can't tell you what year it was published. It had a wonderful story about the history of this quilt block and the real battle that inspired the block back in 1772. I redrew the pattern into Electric Quilt and resized to to fit my bed. It was lots of fun collecting fat quarters in red and off white. Thanks to Margo who emailed me the the Quilter's Newletter edition my pattern was made from. You'll find on pg 24 for the November 1996 Issue #287.
