Here We Go Round In Circles - I loved using Lisa Moore's unique method for "no pins" curved piecing. I took some scraps from my stash to Lisa's class, just to learn the technique. Those scraps were so cute that I bought more fabric to complete the quilt. Fun quilt to work on.

Dad: A portrait - This is a portrait of my dad.

Victorian Minature - This miniature crazy quilt is full of embellishments and embroidery.

For the Grandchildren - Helen McCarthy gave a class on Seminole strips at Asheville Cotton Company and had us do a table runner. For inspiration for fabric buying, I chose Halloween themed fabrics. Two of my grandchildren loved to do scary decorations at Halloween. These children were getting older, perhaps to feel decorating wasn't so cool. After the class, I finished the table runner. The grandchildren have used it each Halloween since to decorate the trick or treat entrance. They are now old enough to be able to decorate outside again and still be cool. Helen's class was fun and incorporating diverse fabrics in an attractive way was so fun.

Fundy Mermaid - This mermaid contains a portrait of my daughter. The rocks behind her are based on the Fundy cliffs and flower pots islands in Fundy Bay.

New York Beauty - I began this in one of Lessa's workshops, learning foundation piecing for the first time. It's foundation pieced and hand quilted.

Split Rail - I love Cynthia's quilts so I bought this kit to try her method. All I can say is she is blessed with an amazing patience! A very time consuming method, but I love the quilt. It's one of my favourites. Thanks Cynthia!

Friendship Quilt - I made this for a friend, who was moving away, using half the hexagons from the fabric and then made one for me from the second half. Kaffe Fasset fabric - I love his colours.

WOW-Worries of War - I made this using civil war reproduction fabrics. I used the "Antique Star" pattern, but made a few changes to better fit my needs.

Maisy's House - I loved this quilt pattern the minute I saw it hanging in another show. For my quilt, I changed the wording, replaced flying geese blocks with star blocks and added a cotton field. I

God Blessed Texas - this quilt was made for the "Theme Challenge" division of the quilt show. The quilt had to relate to the show theme which was West Texas: Sunets, Wind and Black Gold.

Texas Whirlwind - This quilt was made in a round robin with my two best friends. We all agreed that a round robin made us all think outside our "comfort" box, but we had a blast doing our quilts.

Salvaged Selvages - My best friend & I have saved selvages for years. We decided to get together and make something with our selvages. This is what I made...and there are still enough selvages to do many more.

Forever Friends - My best friend Teri moved further away from me, so our other friend Charlotte and I decided to make her a "going away" quilt.

Christmas Convergence

Pumpkins for Sale - Autumn is my favorite time of the years so I wanted a quilt that represented that season and could be used for a few months before the Christmas quilts go up. All fabric came from my "resource center", what some people call "stash." No new fabric purchased for the project.
