Design Source - Description | Helen McCarthy gave a class on Seminole strips at Asheville Cotton Company and had us do a table runner. For inspiration for fabric buying, I chose Halloween themed fabrics. Two of my grandchildren loved to do scary decorations at Halloween. These children were getting older, perhaps to feel decorating wasn't so cool. After the class, I finished the table runner. The grandchildren have used it each Halloween since to decorate the trick or treat entrance. They are now old enough to be able to decorate outside again and still be cool. Helen's class was fun and incorporating diverse fabrics in an attractive way was so fun. |
