Henrietta & Heathclif
Name of Maker: Josew
Henrietta & Heathclif - This set of wall quilts was inspired by our visit to our freinds home in England. The following winter Henrietta died and so this is a memorial to the joy she brought me on those July mornings. I have given it to her owner as thanks for a wonderful visit.
Batiks In Full Effect
Name of Maker: Quilters of the Rock
Batiks In Full Effect - Myself and the "Quilters of the Rock" quilt group made this quilt as a raffle quilt to help raise funds to purchase our very own long arm quilting machine. This proved to be a very beautiful quilt and helped to raise a very nice down payment on our machine. Each of us donated batik fabrics. I came up with the idea for the borders and cornerstones.
State of Grace - BSA
Name of Maker: Marette deJong
State of Grace - BSA - Using Robert Kaufman 2010 Boy Scouts of America fabrics I selected a slightly different set of fabrics for this quilt.
