Witch
Name of Maker: Kit Rosskamp
Witch - Appliqued mini quilt.
Pines and Needles
Name of Maker: Gail Tozier
Pines and Needles - The "trees" would have been easier if I'd know the Ricky Tims way....they are 3D. But, I'm really please with the finished quilt, as is my husband, who I made it for. Most of the quilting was done with the use of rulers on my long arm...clam shells, pumpkin seeds and motifs.
Summer Sunrise
Name of Maker: Sharon Engel
Summer Sunrise - This little quilt is made for my baby granddaughter's first birthday on 11/3/10. I designed this myself. The stars were two different paper piece designs, the letters were blanket stitched and free motion quilted. The solid fabrics were some that I hand dyed. I loved making this for her and hopes she enjoys and loves it for many years.
Halloween Table Set
Name of Maker: Chris
Halloween Table Set - It's almost Halloween, and here is the placemat set I made with a panel for the occasion. There is a matching table topper as well.
Little House in the Big Woods
Name of Maker: Jan Beckert
Little House in the Big Woods - This quilt is made from 700 HST's received in the Quilt Show SOTTT exchange. I used a different quilting design behind each tree. The border fabric glows in the dark!
I Always Wanted to be an Astronaut
Name of Maker: Jan Beckert
I Always Wanted to be an Astronaut - This quilt was enlarged from a pattern published in a 1984 Quiltmaker Magazine. I love the rockets, and was able to use all my sparkly celestial fabrics for the sky. I pieced this nearly 10 years ago, and finally quilted it this year.
Sunspots
Name of Maker: Janet Hartje
Sunspots - Sunspots began it's life as an ordinary piece of cream muslin. I shibori dyed the sun design. Next it was overdyed with yellow. It sat for quit awhile as I contemplated how to give it a little 'pow' I added beads, tiny mirrors, angelina film, swarovski crystals, and hand quilting. This was made for a show at The Textile Center in Minneapolis, MN called A Common Thread. The show is in January 2011. Since it was made for a show at the Textile Center I decided to finish it with a frame. I really like the frame with it, I think it finished it off nicely.
10-10-10 Table Runner
Name of Maker: she-quilts
10-10-10 Table Runner - I adapted Joanie's acorn design to a wholecloth table runner for my in-laws anniversary on 10-10-10. The fabric is hand-dyed silk-cotton blend that I did. I quilted it with Superior's silk thread.
Pi R Squared + Bling
Name of Maker: Dawn Siden
Pi R Squared + Bling - I collected Red/Blk/Wht fabrics for about 10 years, for this quilt. Each pie shape relates to its connecting background, in some manner. For insance, there is a Kokopelli in one pie, and the background is musical notes. (Lighthouse/lobster, etc.) This was fun, but also a challenge. Once the quilt was done, I felt it needed something, so in 2010 I added about 500 red Swarovski crystals to the border, and the main center block. That did the trick!
Forth of July - The Grand Finale
Name of Maker: Dawn Siden
Forth of July - The Grand Finale - Totally paper pieced, highly micro-quilted background (around 9000 feet of thread), completely stitched in the ditch, trapunto stars in the border areas, around 500 Swarovski crystal throughout.

Spirit
Name of Maker: bobbbie292
Spirit - T-shirt quilt with photos.
The Haunted Moon
Name of Maker: Debbie Wolf
The Haunted Moon - I used batiks and did machine applique with a smoky invisible thread. I quilted with assorted colors of Superior's Glitter Threads. The spider and web was not part of the original pattern, but I thought it needed something amid all the black. I incorporated a bat design in the border quilting.
