Harley Davidson - couldnt believe my eyes when i found a lot of really old tee shirts at a jumble sale all harley davidson. i washed them cut out the design motive ironed onto vialene, and made them into a lap quilt. i have since given the quilt to my son-in-law as he owns a beautiful harley. he loves the quilt, especially in winter when its so cold.

christmas peony - i completly made this quilt by machine. peiced put together and quilted useing the free motion method.

A Little Help - Hopefully the last of my battle with cancer series. Each person in my quilt group was given a small baggie with scraps in it and asked to make a small quilt. This quilt is a result of that challenge. I call it "With a Little Help From My Friends, Family, and G-d, I Hope that I Have Won This Battle".

Sunset Convergence - This Sunset Convergence will be in the Pacific International Quilt Festival XVIII October 15 - 18, 2009 Santa Clara Convention Center Santa Clara, California Yea! I'm so excited! My first quilt entry was accepted in a quilt show!

"Ji Whiz, you have a pretty garden" - I saw the arrangement of the Log Cabin in a magazine, and incorporated the dimensional flower from another. As a love gift for a friend from Thailand. Of course, I had to explain the meaning of the idiom, Gee Whiz.

Sea Paradise - My grandson who will be a fifth grader picked out the pattern and all the fabrics for his quilt. He also went to the quilter with me and chose Hawaii as a theme. The side border has waves, the top border has sea shells and each butterfly has a surf board with a picture in it.

Boo Kitties - Traditional piecing and applique' used to create a bit of fun for Halloween.

Window Window - Stained glass pattern using Christmas fabrics. Leading is pieced, not appliqued.

Water Lily Medallion - I just finished this quilt, and shipped it off as an entry in the 2009 Hoffman Challenge. It took 5 months (working 20-25 hours per week) to complete. I created it using fusible applique, with decorative stitching, and paper-piecing. My design was inspired by photographs I took of the Water Lily garden at the Chicago Botanic Gardens. (Though I only realized my inspiration, after I designed the quilt, and noticed it's colors look like the ones in the photos I had taken). (Update 8/7/09: Good news - I just found out my quilt will be in the 2009 Hoffman Challenge traveling exhibit!)

Amish style quilt in brights - This is a client's quilt. She made two for each of her grandsons. They are so bright and cheerful. I quilted them with neon green thread and stars and loops. I love these quilts I just might have to make one for myself.
