Baby Dreams - This is a pieced quilt using fabric and pattern in Quilt Maker Magazine May/June '08 Issue: 121. The kit is available for a limited time from Ladyfingers Sewing Studio. I made this quilt as a shower gift to a friend whose baby is due Nov. 27th. I didn't get the pattern with the fabric and duh! didn't think to go to quiltmaker site before I cut..oops! so the quilt had to be fudged a bit, but overall I'm quite pleased with the outcome.

Bunch O'Squares - After receiving both 3" and 4" squares as a gift from my daughter, I wanted to try using both in the same quilt. It's my favorite quilt to snuggle under.

Another Crack in the wall - This quilt is inspired by the abstract painting of the Belgium painter Paul Van Hoeydonck.

Summer Garden

Self - Photo transfer on dupioni of photo of myself when I was 3 or 4 yrs. old. Words associated with meaning "self" were hand written on fabric as well as rubber stamped lettering. Machine quilted.

Lucas and Courtney Wedding Quilt - My son, Lucas and his wife, are both big University of Georgia fans. Their colors for their wedding were black and red. I made them a memory quilt to remind them of their engagement and their wedding.

Jeremy and Kendra's Wedding Quilt - I made this for my oldest son and his bride to be for their wedding. The guests signed the blocks on the quilt as a lasting reminder of their special day.

Flip Flops - I made each of my daughters in law a flip flop quilt for Christmas last year. These quilts are for fun and are to be used while basking in the sun on the beach or by the pool. The girls loved them!

Tetched - This crazy quilt began with four center blocks that I embellished at a retreat with Judith Baker Montano. I had so much fun, I kept going.

Sunset At Home - This was my first project at my first La Veta Quilt Retreat with Ricky. It was also my first quilt completed with free-motion quilting (during my 2nd LVQR retreat in 2006).

Fly Away - After I saw Ricky demonstrate this technique on The Quilt Show, I had to make one right away. It is the Flying Geese block using only one seam.

Season's Windows - I made this quilt for my mother for christmas, it was my own design. I fell in love with two different landscape prints, a winter and a summer. I made them into windows surround by wide mitred borders and appliqued leaves on the borders surrounding the landscapes. The leaves are in different seasonal fabrics and include some birds for every season as well as flower and leaf prints as my mother is both an avid gardener and an avid birder. It is a lap quilt and she loves it, she naps under it ever afternoon.

The Hungry Caterpillar

Giant Carrots - I drew the carrots on newspaper and then paper pieced them. Quilted on a MegaQuilter.

For My Father - My father was in a nursing home - everything had to have his name on it! I knew the quilt would be abused in the nursing home - so used cheap fabric and cheap techniques - both a mistake I now know.

Patriotic Rail Fence - I loved the fabric - there are metallic stars on each color. Now it seems a bit too wild. It went together VERY fast.

Convergence Flames - I used one tie-dyed fabric for all four of the fabrics needed for this design. It's quilted with a flame design. One of my favorites!
