Heather75 Season's Windows - I made this quilt for my mother for christmas, it was my own design. I fell in love with two different landscape prints, a winter and a summer. I made them into windows surround by wide mitred borders and appliqued leaves on the borders surrounding the landscapes. The leaves are in different seasonal fabrics and include some birds for every season as well as flower and leaf prints as my mother is both an avid gardener and an avid birder. It is a lap quilt and she loves it, she naps under it ever afternoon.
