On the wings of an Eagle is an original eagle design built on a Bargello pattern flag.  The bird is created with individual feathers that are made with Joan Shay's Petal Play technique.  Every feather is individually sewn and the face is enhanced using Prismacolor pencils.

This is the most beautiful Patriotic Quilt I have ever seen. The eagle is so life like and the flag with the Bargello even look is like it's waving in the breeze. Wonderful Job.
