Angel9 Deux Chevoux - This quilt was a journey and I really did not know where it was going. It started out with a painted background, then a shibori technique and then more paint. The horses were created using freezer paper stencils and more fabric paint. I quilted the background with echo quilting and stitched the manes using free motion stitching. A simple border was all it needed to contain all the action.
