BrandyLynn The Silk Giraffe - This quilt was designed as a private commission for a client to give as a baby gift. It was designed around the colour scheme of the baby room and the layette they had chosen for the new arrival. The joyful recipients sent me this lovely photo of their tiny infant on the quilt with permission to use the photo. The circles are designed using multiple textures of fabric such as minky, faux leather, flannel and silk for little fingers to explore. The giraffe is made entirely of silk.
