Katiezquiltz On The Way To Sun ~ Snow Geese Meet Rainbow - Gail Garber taught a class at MQXWest in Oct 2011 and taught the Goose Is Loose. In the class I designed my quilt and then pieced that design using the techniques I learned in class. I had a blast with the triangles and the circle I decided to do for the sun. A little challenging which pushed me into getting it done.

What a surprise to see my quilt as Quilt of the Day. Thank you TQS for picking this quilt. On the way to sun - now lives in Nashville. I stayed with my in-laws on the way to Paducah one day and gifted them with this after the photo shoot for the cover of Ricky and Alex's The Quilt Life Magazine - October 2013. I'm truly blessed.
