Denise0915 Genuine Jazz in July - My sister founded and ran a jazz festival in Breckenridge, CO for 19 years. It featured Colorado jazz musicians and each year, a beautiful t-shirt designed by a local artist. When she sold the festival, I made her a quilt of all the t-shirts. The quilter, Karen Gilson, quilted the names of musicians and bands (over 60 of them!) in the borders. The quilt has taken on a life of it's own. It was featured in a Ricky Tims quilting drive-by; It was presented to my sister on her 50th birthday - at a huge family reunion; and It won a ribbon at the Iowa State Fair! WHAT an adventure!
