slozano Earth Snowballs - My friend commissioned me to make an anniversary quilt for her parents 50th wedding anniversary and wanted earth tones. I love making snowball blocks and had some great Thimbleberries fabric in my stash, so decided to combine them making earth tone snowball blocks! The light fabric in the corners is actually a light colored batik that I found at my favorite local quilt shop. My friend was delighted with the quilt! I hand appliqued 2 butterflies on it...one for her Mom and one for her Dad.
