slozano Texanese - A friend of mine commissioned me to make this wallhanging for her brother's new mother-in-law who lives in Japan. She wanted a Texas theme in wallhanging size, since the homes in Japan are quite small. I designed this wallhanging to incorporate Texas theme items using Texas theme fabric and some Asian fabrics. The blue in the corners of the blocks and small border is bluebonnet fabric and the sashing between the blocks is chile pepper fabric. I was pretty happy with the way it turned out and my friend's MIL was thrilled to receive it!
