Qlts2Slo Totems - Made for a challenge where any block could be selected but 3 different sizes of the block were dictated, as was the location of each size block. The orientation of the blocks was up to the creators. My family and I started to see fish shapes, teepees, drums and masks (too much wine at dinner?) in this quilt so I named it Totems. The quilting design is modified from Dr. Joyce Mori's Expanding Star Wholecloth design from her book "Native American Designs for Quilting". A picture of the back with the quilt design more visible is included in my photos.
