The Ruin - My father wrote a book which is about a boy living in an indian ruin near Mesa Verde national park. I wanted to make a quilt to honor this. I used intuitive piecing and my own hand dyes to make the quilt. Is is portrait mounted onto another piece of hand dye for the background.
