Design Source - Description | This year I am going to make Lone Star quilts for my five grandchildren. This quilt is the first I have completed. Dallas' Lone Star is made with blue and yellow fabrics from Walmart in a traditional Lone Star Pattern. It is heavily quilted by machine, using a grid pattern, Baptist Fan, and a feather design. This quilt is bound in a blue and yellow checked fabric. I had trouble giving this away because I loved the quilting in it so much. The fabrics are the same fabrics used for another quilt I entered into the gallery earlier, Laine's Winding Ways Quilt. |
