cjmquilt Christmas Surprises - I made two of this design...one for each of my daughters for Christmas. They were totally surprised. I think I finally finished them the day before they were due home. I made a patch for the back that included the date, their name and "Love, Mom". I added many embellishments...put their names on some of the shoppes and each of their names on a shoppe on her sister's quilt. As my grandfather was a baker, I put my mother's maiden name on the bakery. I hope they will treasure them for many years, and feel the love for them each time they look at it.
