Going Batty

Going Batty - The pattern intrigues me because it is Hawaiian style but it had bats. Before I retired from 35 years of teaching elementary school, one of my favorite units to teach was on bats and I collected bat things. The quilting around the bats says chiroptera (which is the scientific name for bats) and bat sayings. I chose the fabric to look like bats flying over water at night.
