Colorplus Sun Gridlock - My first quilt -- I took a class taught by Jean Wells in Sisters, OR. It was color study class, using Kaffe Fasset's Gridlock pattern. The quilt only as two alternating blocks. One has 36 two-inch squares, and the other had 3 rows - 1 with three 4-inch squares, and 2 with 4x12 strips. My challenge was to not have equal distribution of color. My quilt was to be yellow & red with green. It was hard to keep repeating the yellow.
