Granny Nan's Hugs and Kisses

Granny Nan's Hugs and Kisses - I pieced this top with a method similar to English paper piecing and thoroughly enjoyed the process. However, I learned a hard lesson: WHAT NOT TO DO WITH A BALLPOINT PEN. When I finished the quilt and washed it, the ink ran onto the white background. After I cried a little, my next thought was to hide the quilt. But then I decided that the quilt should not be punished because of my mistake, so here it is. I love it in spite of its flaws -- like a wayward child! I hope someone else learns from my sad experience.
