LCCampbell Pennsylvania Dutchess - I love STARS! I discovered early on in quilting that I needed to use solid color fabrics to show off my hand quilting stitches, and I learned that black shows off colors and makes the glow. A little applique added to a pieced quilt makes it all come together. This quilt was my first really big winner in competition. It is retired now, and at 108" squares, it is too big to be a regular part of my trunk show, so it lives at home mostly. I will sometimes take it with me when I drive to my teaching/lecture bookings.
