lcarolyn self portrait "all that glitters" - this was a challenge quilt by the Art Quilt Guild of Grand Junction, Colorado. i was a new member and never had made an "art" quilt, so i had no idea what i was doing...my husband loves this quilt, by the way. i used many different techniques from ripping fabric to bending wire. great fun! next time i will attempt a picassoesque approach or maybe a rhapsodyesque approach. is this a new vocabulary?, as well?
