Design Source - Description | My 7-year old granddaughter saw this pattern where log cabin blocks are arranged to look like butterflies with applique added for the bodies of the butterflies. All the pinks and all the whites are scrappy but match each other. I had seen it on the cover of a quilting magazine years ago. She loved it and I made her this queen size to grow with her beds as she grows. I added the applique flowers in the border for fun, and they are totally free hand. |
