Design Source - Description | I made this quilt for a kids' ranch in Texas that takes in troubled teens. Every Dec. they have a party for the kids and they hang all the donated quilts and as the kids' number is drawn, they each get to choose the quilt they want. I donated this quilt to them, but do not know yet the young girl's name who chose this quilt. I just cut 4x12" strips and staggered them to arrive at this design. I'm sure there is a pattern out there somewhere that someone else has come up with, but I did not use a pattern. This was one of the easiest quilts I have ever made. And it was a pleasure to donate it to such a worthy cause. |
