kimcanuck Tribal Pride on Parade - Using an original photograph, it was enlarged before creating a line-drawing for the pattern. A variety of fabrics were used to achieve shadow and highlights for this portrait quilt. Feathers, beads, and other embellishments were hand sewen after machine quilting.
