Poobear1929 Get Well Naomi-O - This was my fourth quilt; I made this for my neighbor’s daughter who has cancer. I wanted make something to cheer her up. I also had her older sisters help with the design and color scheme. I printed the pictures on special fabric, boy that stuff is so cool. The appliqué images were drawn on freezer paper by Naomi’s sister and I machine appliquéd them on. I gave Naomi a special marking pen for fabric, so she can have all her friends, family, and doctors write special get well messages on the quilt.
