Design Source - Description |
My first award winning quilt. Second in a series of design studies showcasing line and color in abstract geometric forms made entirely of embroidered thread, two intertwining loops crisscross each other in what appears to be a perpetual movement. The spacing of the lines allows the layers of color to show through in a translucent and dynamic effect. Multiple underlying patterns form under the main design element, creating an ever-changing picture based on the viewing angle. The overall effect suggests ropes tied in knots. |
