Kathy writes, "The design for this quilt originated with the discovery of a block named “Shepherd’s Light”. I developed the shepherd theme by incorporating imagery from the 23rd Psalm."

From 2003, The Lord is My Shepherd is 67" x 67" and incorporates machine piecing, hand papercut appliqué, and machine quilting.

Hi Kirstin, I named a quilt "Green Pastures" after the "Lord is my Shepherd". It was a green card trick quilt that I quilted by hand by my Husband's bedside when he was dying of cancer.
