Karen spent one year creating and applying the appliqué to Majestic Mosaic and then Renae spent a year doing the machine quilting. All that work paid off as it won Best of Show at AQS Paducah in 2015. This was the second time that Karen and Renae collaborated. They won BOS previously with their quilt, "Fiesta Mexico." I have long admired Ms. Buckley's quilts, and I treasure the Quilter's Newsletters that they appeared in. This was a wonderful puzzle to work, and I kept it at the 100 piece non rotating size to keep it manageable. Thanks for the warning though about it being tricky, it was.

A glorious way to spend a Sunday afternoon though. Thanks ever so much Alex and Ricky. :D :D
