Alex made the eagle in this quilt when she was in a Charlotte Warr Andersen class at Asilomar in California. Rather than a person's face, which is what one might normally create in Charlotte's class, she went for the eagle. The result is pretty spectacular.

Star Members can watch Charlotte Warr Andersen in Show 1209: A "Roundup" of Techniques from Two Terrific Teachers which also features Georgia Bonesteel.

Hi, Alex - I love doing the puzzles and look forward to them each week. I'm wondering how I would go about submitting photos of some of my quilts that I think would make good puzzles. Thanks! Rita K.

FYI: I had no problem with the 99 non rotating size at all. Alex, this is one of the best patriotic quilts I have ever viewed. Your eagle is magnificent! This puzzle made me proud to be an American this year.
