All The Pretty Pieces by Lorraine K. Williams was on display as part of the Traditional Mixed category at Road to California 2014.  Lorraine writes, "This is one of my favorite designers and the pattern just spoke to me.  It was particularly fun to raid my fabric stash for this project, finding fabrics that would work together overall, but still make each block idifferent and special. Each block took on a life of its own. Little fussy cut surprises are hidden throughout. The hand applique was a pure joy. It is that 8th quilt that I have quilted myself on my A-1, and the first of my own making."
