How many of you have heard or used the expression, "gather rosebuds, while you may"? It has always meant that one should enjoy life while you are able. The expression comes from an old poem written by Robert Herrick: Gather ye rose-buds while ye may; Old Time is still a flying; And this same flower that smiles to-day, To-morrow will be dying. The poem was entitled "To the Virgins, To Make Much of Time." Let's make the most of our time and start sewing! |
