Dulce, thank you so much for sharing your methods in making this quilt. It is helpful to know that you are employing the techniques you are comfortable with, while at the same time, stepping out of your comfort zone and trying new things. It goes to show that this quilt can be made any way each quilter sees fit. You are fearless and resourceful and your quilt is incredible! I dare say...it's even better than mine! (not that it's a competition hehe).
Bravo!

Thank you, Ann, for your kind words. I like very much this project. I am glad to tell you and all other people something about. So, concerning the blue butterflies : I used hand embroidery a bit different each other because I don't like to make things exactly the same way. Yellow butterfly: I tried a machine decorative stitch couching a yarn. I enjoy that experience. Excuse-me Ann not have made the back ground like yours. Much difficult for me. I used the crazy technique, but I promise you (and myself...) to try your technique in future days!
Concerning the peacock teardrop feathers, I couldn't find at the local shops an eyelash yarn to couch around; so I worked a fringe with the Bernina press foot number 7. It was my first time to use this press foot and believe me I'm very grateful to you for giving me the opportunity to try new ways.
