TOPIC: Has anyone ever tried snowflake designs?

The fellow is known as Snowflake Bentley. His book is incredible. There is even a kids book about him. I have taken one of Paula's classes & she is an amazing teacher. If you want a simple snowflake book I just came across one:Sewflakes. It uses the folding method we used when we were little & the quilts are terrific.

Have you seen Paula Nadelstern's snowflake quilt? It is amazing. She is the kaleidoscope quilter that is covered in TQS's recent show. I told my mom to go to her website and the quilting bug bit her. I sent her Paula's book and some suitable fabrics. I hope she does a quilt. If you haven't subscribed to series 5 try her website. The snowflake quilt may be on the website. Jan

I was helping my son with his homework and we came across this site vermontsnowflakes.com/BE.htm. It is photos of actual snowflakes by this Owen (can't remember last name sorry). Anyway he spent his life taking photos of snowflakes and the designs are truely inspiring. Maybe it will inspire you too. Either way it is definately worth the lookup just to see how amazing these little crystals are.
