TOPIC: Trying to renew w/ a coupon from a show

We use the word "coupon" and "gift certificate" interchangeably. When a viewer has a coupon or gift certificate, they should use the "Redeem A Gift Certificate" button. There they will have a box to enter it in and get the discount.

Hi John,

I'll go back to old newsletters to see if I can find out why we got the gift certificate. It expires really soon, so......

Just for future reference, when there is a coupon code, where should it be submitted? Does the TQS website only display the field when there is an active coupon code?

Thanks

We have gift certificates to give to a non-member friend and gift certificates for past series, but we don't have any current coupons for a membership purchase. I apologize for any confusion. Yes every Star member received a 6 month for a friend coupon on 11-15-13. To be honest, I forget why. It was probably something we were doing for new members and we always try to reward the long time members at the same time.

I just renewed and wanted to use a recent discount coupon code for membership renewal. However, on checkout, I did not notice a place to insert a coupon code. So, I just added the code in the comments. Therefore, the discount did not automatically apply. Should coupon codes go in the gift certificate validation field? If so, it would be helpful to identify that somewhere on the checkout page.

Also, I received a 6-month free gift certificate to give to a friend on 11/15/13 without making a purchase. Was this correct and I just missed the announcement about it?

Thanks

Eileen, I've been getting the magazine - no problem there. And the paper I have, Ritzy, says "1. Take the Tour at /, 2) During the tour, watch our Sample Show to verify your internet connection speed, and 3. Join as a Star Member - enter this coupon number into the Shopping Cart." Well, I'll figure it out somehow.
Thanks, you two!

I don't know, but my suspicion is that the coupon was for you to pass on to a friend. Just a thought.

Mary, it might be a good idea to go to the AQS website, and contact The Quilt Life through them. AQS is the publishing company for TQL.

Hope this helps,

Trying to renew w/ a coupon from a show 21 Feb 2013 13:22 #97854

Hello, when I was at the Grand Rapids, MI show last August, I bought the offer to get the Quilt Life magazine and also renew my membership. At the time I told John that my present membership wouldn't run out for several months. Now I'm trying to input the Coupon Number on my card but the website won't accept it. Am I doing something incorrectly, or has the number expired?
Thanks,
Mary
