Hi Mrstree! Welcome to the forum! If you are trying to print out the 2010 BOM, you will find directions for printing out your patterns on page 3 of the Introduction for the Star Crazy BOM.

If you are printing out the Introduction directions for the 2011 Ruffled Roses BOM, the instructions are on page 5, but you need to be aware that the 1" test square on this page DOES NOT MEASURE 1 SQUARE INCH! It will be fine for a practice block to learn the mechanics of paper piecing.

That issue has been corrected for the rest of the patterns, and they will print out correctly if you follow Sue's guidelines. This is a good example of why it's important to be very careful with your measuring, cutting, stitching and pressing when you are working on your BOM. You will see how that little discrepancy will cause the entire practice paper-pieced house block to end up the wrong size. It's supposed to measure 4-1/2" (unfinished size). You can see how difficult this quilt would be to assemble if every block was off by that much!

Hope that helps!

Help! I'm trying to print out my BOM patterns and my 1-inch square does not measure 1 inch. How do I fix that?
