TOPIC: Chat Problem

chat 24 Apr 2008 19:51 #17387

to get a response from anyone on the chat line someone else needs to be there otherwise everything you type is gone when you log off. and if I come on I can't see anything that has happened before I log on (except on the expert chats when there is a transcript kept) Otherwise what ever is said exists only among the participants and is gone when we leave. (Thank goodness my typing and grammar are bad enough when I have a chance to edit them would hate to have anyone read my chat comments)

The chat line has been quite quiet lately but if you really want to talk to people log on and sit there a while. Read the forum write a blog etc while you wait and usually someone will show up even for a little while. Chatting is really fun but it is an on and off thing.

Hopefully I will have time to chat soon been busy lately but look for me you never know when I will show up.

Well I've tried to post my question twice, but it seems nobody was on when I was. I was looking at a list of topics the first time I went on here. There was a chat room about thread and many others and they all had a (0) showing noone was on any of them. This is not as easy to get a response as on the Quilt-in-a-day forum.

I have missed the last two "Featured Guests" because I was looking for the title of the chat as it is posted in the chat transcripts. Why not label them the same to avoid confusion. I noticed the Wizard wanted more people to participate in Jane Davila"s chat-- maybe that is why. Did this happen to anyone else?
