I think that the little bit of waste you are having on those few pieces will not be a problem.

Margo, I made the template, I was just trying to figure out how to use by taping it to a ruler. I saw how you did this with the triangle pieces and it worked well. Just couldn't figure out how to do it with the end piece.

Did you make a separate template for the end pieces? I show how to cut the templates on this video tutorial:

Not that I am worried about wasting fabric but after all the discussion of not enough fabric in the kit I don't want to not have enough. I like to fussy cut!

We all waste fabric, and yards and yards of thread. You haven't done much fussy cutting, I presume! :shock:

I am beginning late and just starting on block 1. I cut the triangles using a template taped to a ruler but cannot figure out how to do it on the end pieces without wasting a bit of fabric. Anyone done this that can help me out?
