You are going to love Savannah. However, it gets pretty hot and humid in the summer. It's a walking town, so take some good walking shoes. Be sure to eat at Lady & Sons (Paula Deen's restaurant), but everywhere we ate in Savannah was great. I had the best sandwich ever while in Savannah at Soho South Cafe--a Cubano made with authentic Cuban bread. I'd go back just for the sandwich.

I didn't get to a quilt shop while I was there, but this one looks like one you might not want to miss---> http://www.colonialquilts.us/historic-savannah-quilt-blocks.htm

Enjoy!
