The lady who runs the TQS Shoppe will be cutting more fabric for the kits to send out but she is still sick with the flu. Please be assured that it will get to you ASAP. ARJJ is going to make this right.

Thank you for your suggestions. I have figured out how to make this part of the quilt, but have run out of fabric and still have most of 6 of the longer pieced units to make!! I see where we have been told that we will receive more fabric if a kit was purchased. Any idea when that will be? Now that I have the hang of assembling these units I want to keep going!

Yes, Casciamom, it will make a difference, but please don't give up! I suggest that you try making just ONE UNIT following the instructions to see if you like the technique. If you want to try a different technique, check the CLASSROOM link (on the purple bar at the top of the page) to find my videos showing several ways to paper piece the units. If you have cut all of your strips you may be able to salvage the fabric by cutting templates like I show in the video labeled ADD A QUARTER, but you may not have the grain line running the right way. If you have starched your fabric like the instructions tell us to do, and if you are very careful and aware of the possibility of stretching the bias, I think you can salvage most of it.

Also, ARJJ is stocking extra fabric in the TQS Shoppe in case you need to order more.

You can do this!

I am an idiot!! I cut my first two fabrics and realized that I cut it the wrong way. Will this make a huge difference?? Do I need to start over?? If I am this dumb with the first month, should I forget the rest!!??
