Sorry for the confusion Elaine. Apparently the first yardage list was wrong! Yes...we are only supposed to have 12 pieces in the kit.

Sometimes it's great to be awake at 3:00 am! More time to sit guilt free and read forum posts for hours!!!

When I first printed the info on the BOM to begin a notebook (Trying to be organized), the fabric requirements said there were 14 different fabrics. I had ordered my kit back in November or December, taken the fabric out, thrown the box away, washed, dried and ironed it all.

When I was finally ready to start, I counted and I only had 12 fabrics! I looked everywhere and couldn't find the missing 1/4 yard pieces. I figured I'd thrown them away with the box or they weren't there to begin with. I wrote TQS and inquired, but got no response.

Then in the wee hours this morning I saw somewhere there were only 12 fabrics! Whew!

I used the turquoise dots 12615-skb1 and the orange cape o.

My question is what orange and what turq. are you using in the first step for the quilt "two of us" ? I want to make sure I have enought fabric, thanks

The Daily Blog posted instructions for month 1 sashing using foundation piecing, but there was also a comment that using this technique requires more fabric. Is there adequate fabric in the kit to foundation piece? I have ordered the kit but have not received it, yet. (I would prefer to foundation piece for accuracy)
