I think the cross is an icon you can attach to the thread when you start a new one.

Finding it difficult to navigate thru the site - even sign in is giving me some problems. Hopefully, some of the old familiar things come back, Thanks for your comments.

Has anyone figured out what the different memberships mean?

I know I saw a list of those icons back some days ago....x, check , light bulb etc. ......but can't find them now.

Yeah, it looks a lot like Facebook, and I see the big red X also. And I have choice words for Facebook frustration many times.

Which big red X are you seeing? I don't remember seeing one anywhere, but there's so much new that I know I'm missing a lot!

I don't do Facebook so can't tell you if they are trying to model themselves after that, but a lot of the terms do seem to be like the ones I hear people use when talking about Facebook and other social media. This is my only social media so I guess I'll have to pick it up as I go along!

What does the big red X signify?

Hi Debbie, I think this was discussed elsewhere but the upshot is that we don't seem to have those functions on the new website.

I am unable to find my favorites that I had saved from the old website. Also not finding the heart icon that would allow you to start saving new items. Can anyone help??
