Judy, Della and I live on different ends of England, but try to get together as often as we can. Seeing that she lives in the very South and I'm in the North-East I guess you are right and Della is looking up to where I am. :)

Della, your avatar looks like you are looking at Lorchen to answer her post. Cute photo.

:Sigh: A little more time Lorchen and I'd do just that!

Thanks everyone for your replies. I am going to spend a little money now.

The DVD is non-region specific, NTSC and computers. It is printed on the case. There should be no problem playing the DVD on international DVD players. :)

I bought the Series 1 video a while ago and it works fine. Worth getting as there are extras that are not on the taped show. Just waiting for series 2 to come out now. Like you, they are too good not to have available when they reach their expiry date

Go directly to the LINK AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE to contact the show. You might have to tell them what format of DVD player you have. ( look in your manual )

But since movie DVD are available around the world I would bet your DVD player will play the show's DVD.

Aren't most DVD players made in Japan/ China and are pretty much universal. There are some English quilters on the board maybe they have some better information.

I hope this is the right place to ask.

I'm starting to get withdrawal symptoms at the thought of losing Series 1 at the end of the year and would like to get the DVD, but although I realise I can play it in the computer, does anyone know if it will play in a DVD player here in England?
