JoJo, my hair stylist still uses a razor to cut my hair, and I can tell the difference if someone else uses a scissors.

I remember when it was really popular to have a razer cut hair cut. I think it was at my dad's barbershop. Something about the hair laying better than when cut blunt with scissors. Ever since I saw Margo use Alex's 4in1 tool to snip threads, I've been doing her trick and it works perfectly!

Rosemary, I do seem to remember some kind of hair trimmer that looked alittle like this. That was years ago! I still think I may order a few. I can put them in my daughters' Christmas stockings. I'm always looking for some little thing to stick in there. I used this at a friends house and it did work for the thread trimming. I don't think it would work too well for general sewing tasks. I always keep my scissors handy at the machine when sewing clothing.

You could also use it for 'artistic' hair cuts!

I found this new tool for trimming threads. Check it out at: http://www.ez-trimmer.com. I have used this and like it. Especially for cutting apart my chain pieced things. Let us know what you think.
